Season Tickets

Season Tickets are available at the Fair Secretary's Office on the Kandiyohi County Fairgrounds starting two weeks before the beginning of the fair.  As season ticket allows you to come and go as many times as you want during the 4-day fair.   Season Gate Ticket - $12.00  Season Car Ticket - $4.00

 

 

 

  • Free Fair Bus Transportation on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday

  • Available from 10am - 5pm

  • Scheduled riders to and from the Fair paid for by Fair Board

  • Front gate is the bus stop for fair patrons

  • Transportation in City Limits of Willmar - based on availability

  • Call KAT Bus to Schedule a ride (214-7433)

  • Please call one week in advance for groups of 3 or more and special needs.

 

WRIST BAND DAYS

Each Day of the 2008

Kandiyohi County Fair

Purchasing one wrist band for $18.00 each day (at carnival entrance) allows anyone to have UNLIMITED RIDES during the hours set below:

Wednesday, August 6 - 6-10pm

Thursday, August 7 - 1-5pm

Friday, August 8 - 1-5pm

Saturday, August 9 - 1-5pm

 

Must purchase a new wrist band each day!

Willmar is home to the annual Kandiyohi County Fair. Held in August each year, the fair features agricultural, domestic and industrial exhibits from throughout the County.  The fair offers something for everyone--from baking and flowers to livestock and antique tractors. The kids will love the rides! Come enjoy the contests, food, singing, food, dancing, food, races and other grandstand entertainment and, of course, the food! The fairgrounds are also home to the KRA Speedway, with performances Thursday evenings throughout the summer. The Fairgrounds are available for special events by appointment.  For additional information contact Rollie at (320) 214-5512.  The fairgrounds is located off of North Seventh Street in Willmar.

Adults - $6

Sr. Citizen - (55+) THURS ONLY - $3

Students (K - 12) - $2

Children (Pre K) - FREE

Automobiles and Trucks - $2

 

All prices include Sales Tax.  Admission charges covering Industrial and Livestock Exhibits, Concessionaires, Superintendents and Employees will be found under the General Fair Rules. 

 

Camping

There is a limited 13 camping sites available at the fair - on a first come, first serve basis - $20 per night fee.

 

Attention...Policy

  • Vehicles, golf carts, 4-wheelers, gators and the like which are for the express use of the fair personnel during fair time (week) are only to be driven by County Fair personnel, board members, office staff and volunteers designated to use such units. 

  • Use of motorized vehicle on the fairgrounds during the fair week ... limited only to golf carts, 4-wheelers, gators and the like which are in use by the Kandiyohi County Fair board and staff will be permitted during the fair week.  All other private units which may be brought to be driven to the grounds, will NOT BE permitted.  Insurance coverage will NOT allow private units on the grounds.

  • It shall be the policy, that during the period of the Kandiyohi County Fair, no dogs or other pets shall be allowed on the fair ground. 

Exceptions being:

  1. Certified service animals or secured animals in training

  2. Dogs or other pets may be allowed when part of an exhibition or demonstration authorized by the secretary.

  3. Carnival owner/operators - dogs must be housed during fair hours.
